Chronic pain, even pain that cannot be relieved by drugs, can sometimes be healed by massage therapy.

Hiring a licensed massage therapist (LMT) is important.

Tony has been a New York State licensed massage therapist for over 16 years. State licensure assures that every licensed practitioner has a basic set of skills, and protects you from being harmed by an unqualified practitioner.  Only licensed massage therapists can practice massage legally in New York.

But having a license doesn’t make you an excellent massage therapist – that’s where Tony’s years of experience becomes important.

Why is experience important?

Having experience with problems. Having experience means encountering problems not once, but many times.  That means identifying problems faster, and knowing how to tailor a solution for you.

Tony is  well connected. If Tony can’t solve your problem, his expansive network of associations in the massage therapy and medical fields can help him direct you to someone who can. Tony’s years of professional networking allow him to be a valuable resource for you – directly, and indirectly.

Tony listens. All this experience means knowing how to listen to your needs and manage pain relief.  Sometimes it may be hard for you to explain the problem accurately or easily.  That is when a good interview can reveal opportunities to treat you more effectively.

Tony can change it up. Tony changes the techniques he uses during your massage based upon your present condition, what has been successful in past sessions, and where you are in the process of healing.
